Ani Sabeva, an economist by education and a devoted mother, transitioned her career into promoting proper and ergonomic babywearing after the birth of her son. With a background in international trade and management, Ani recognized the importance of nurturing the bond between parent and child through comfortable and safe babywearing practices.
In 2017, Ani founded the Slingomania library, initially serving her local community in Ruse. Recognizing the growing demand for babywearing resources, the initiative expanded rapidly. By 2018, Ani established the National Association of Baby Carriers Bulgaria and opened a second branch of the library in Sofia, reaching even more families across the country.
At the end of 2018, Ani orchestrated Slingo Fest, a groundbreaking event tailored for families with babies. This unique gathering provided a platform for parents to explore various babywearing options, learn from experts, and connect with like-minded individuals, further solidifying Ani's commitment to promoting a supportive and inclusive community for babywearing enthusiasts.
